1. Information We Collect
Tutoring with EC collects information necessary to provide professional Business English coaching, diagnostic assessments, and billing services. This includes your name, business email address, professional role/industry, spoken and written English work samples submitted for instruction, and transaction records.
2. Lesson Recording Policy
To protect client and workplace confidentiality, session recordings are turned OFF by default. Recordings are only initiated if you provide explicit prior consent for personal study and review. Client work materials (such as slide decks, emails, or resumes) shared during coaching are treated with strict confidentiality and never shared with third parties.
3. Data Processors & Security
We utilize vetted enterprise infrastructure providers including Supabase (PostgreSQL database & encrypted authentication), PayPal (PCI-compliant payment and subscription processing), and secure video conference platforms. We do not store raw credit card numbers on our servers.
4. Age Boundary (Adults-Only Service)
Our public coaching programs are exclusively offered to working adult professionals age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 13 in compliance with COPPA.
5. Your Data Rights & Deletion
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of your personal account data, written learning plans, and session notes at any time by contacting privacy@tutoringwithec.com.
